December 2, 2021This is a dive bar. This is the oldest Tavern in San Diego. Such establishments use to cater to fisherman exclusively, opening early and serving affordable food and drink late in the night. I highly recommend this place if you are a local. If you are a tourist and appreciate a taste of blue collar culture in a white collar world...stop in. Beware...they serve a young, bold crowd now-a-days.

March 2, 2022Tommy was amazing and colored my hair really well. Not what I expected because they didn’t have the color I want but still turned out really good. He was informative and walk me through the step by step of coloring and bleaching and toning my hair coz it’s my first time. Great experience!

Had a great experience getting highlights and a hair cut here by a stylist named Eric. He took his time to cut my hair and was very knowledgeable in color and be careful to not damage my hair.

April 18, 2022There must have been a change in management since I went last, two years ago. I called for a quote on dying my hair and getting a cut. I was quoted around $180. After it was all done, I was faced with a charge of $315! When I got the _same service_ done two years ago it was $155!
I've had a good experience there, but beware of being misquoted for a service and facing the consequences at the end.Michael James

I got a haircut with Eric and he was amazing! He listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I was looking for. I have curly hair and is very hard to find someone who is able to cut the layers the way I like and he did it! My hair looks nice and the curls are bouncing!

February 2, 2022Tony did a great job. I have been going to this salon since 2015. Seems like management has changed since covid. They have online appointment booking but not all stylists created equal. For gray root cover up and a trim 160.00. so not cheap. Small place. And chairs are really wayyy to close to the mirrors. It's like 2 inches away. Front desk not always manned anymore. I loved my stylist Micheal. But he is gone now after covid. And their new computer system confusing them and me. I could not book a appointment 5 weeks out. She wrote it down though. Overall they strive to give great service. And would recommend.
